Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference (DYFC): The Diocesan Youth Fellowship Con-
ference (DYFC) is right around the corner! This year’s conference will take place from July
31 to August 2, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme is "Living Out His Story," and we are
blessed to have Rev. Larry Varghese as our main speaker. We encourage all our youth to
make every effort to attend this time of worship, learning, and fellowship. For more infor-
mation and registration details, please visit DYFC2025.org.
Monthly Parish Youth Fellowship Meetings: Our regular Parish Youth Fellowship Meet-
ings continue to be wonderful occasions for us to deepen our faith and friendships. If you
need further information about dates, times, or activities, please reach out to your Parish
Youth Fellowship Secretary, who will have all the details. Let us make the most of these
gatherings and encourage one another to grow in faith and unity.
Bible Study: The next MONTHLY Bible Study will be at 7:30pm on May 21, 2025, at the
Youth Chaplain’s Parsonage. We are deeply grateful to our very own seminarian, Vineet
Vinod (BD II), who, during his recent visit home, graciously led a meaningful Bible Study
for our youth on the theme "The Cost of Holding On," based on St. Matthew 19:16–28. His
thoughtful leadership and heartfelt reflections challenged and encouraged all who attended.
We thank God for the time he spent with us and continue to uphold him in prayer as he
pursues his seminary studies.
NERYF Spring One Day Retreat 2025: We give thanks to God for the blessing of
the Spring One Day Retreat, held on Holy Saturday at Bethany Mar Thoma Church. Over
200 youth from across New York came together for a powerful day of worship, fellowship,
and spiritual renewal. We are especially grateful to Dr. Shaun Rajan (St. Andrew’s MTC) and
Jojin Mathew (Long Island MTC) for leading us with inspiring messages that challenged and
encouraged us to be the salt and light of the world .
A heartfelt thanks to Bethany Mar Thoma Church Family, and also to all the youth, volun-
teers, and leaders who made this retreat a meaningful and memorable experience. I also take
this opportunity to sincerely thank the many parents across our parishes who generously
carpooled, arranged rides, and made sure their children — and others — could attend. Sup-
port like this is a vital part of our Youth Fellowship success and it is a testimony to the
strength of our community that we all have a role. May the spirit of renewal we experienced
continue to guide us as we grow in faith together.
College Visits: Spring 2025 Semester Wrap-Up: As we close out our college visits for this
semester, I give thanks to God for the wonderful opportunities to meet, pray, and spend
time with many of our students across different colleges in New York and Connecticut. I am
especially grateful to all the youth who took the time and made every arrangement to make
these gatherings possible. A special word of thanks to Mr. Angel Abraham of Bethany MTC,
who graciously opened his college home to host the Easter Holy Qurbana in Buffalo — a
beautiful moment of worship and fellowship. The efforts, hospitality, and willingness of our
students to create space for prayer and community have been a true blessing and a living
testimony to their love for God and the Church. As the semester winds down, please know
that you remain in our prayers. May God continue to guide your steps, strengthen your faith,
and bless you in all your studies and endeavors. We look forward to resuming our college
visits in Fall 2025!
