Vicar’s Message
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Let's thank God for the blessed month of October and welcome Novem-
ber. I thank God for the blessed Annual Parish Convention held last
month and I express my special joy and gratitude to those who attended.
It was a great privilege and opportunity for our Parish to host the RAC
Convention in our church. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all those who
organized the convention and farewell meeting for our Thirumeni. I want
to wholeheartedly appreciate and thank each one of you for donating to-
wards the cost of the vehicle in honor of Very Rev. Saju C. Pappachan
Ramban.
I request your wholehearted cooperation to the special programs in the
month of November. This 18th we will have our Family Night of Sevika
Sanghom, I hope everyone has purchased the tickets for the same. It is a
month of great celebration of Thanksgiving and I pray that this celebra-
tion will truly glorify our God who provides us all the blessings and it
should be a time of extending a helping hand to the poor and needy. We
will have a special Thanksgiving service.
November 1st is celebrated as All Saints day. We remember all the faith-
ful who taken heavenly abode and should follow their blessed faith. First
week we observe World Sunday School Day, all our kids should grow up
in the Word of God. Parents are requested to take care that their child at-
tends the Sunday School. Our children should be trained to be partakers
in concerns of Christ. Renewal is about deepening our relationship with
God, it is very essential for the growth of the church. This is the month of
preparing for Advent season, Annunciation to Zechariah and Virgin
Mary reminds us that God wants always human participation in His plan
for the salvation. Virgin Mary and Zechariah challenge us to be submis-
sive to God's plan. This is very important that this year onwards, our
church is decided to observe the fourth Sunday of November as Diaspora
Sunday. As we are a diaspora community in this land
we should thank God for all the privileges and bless-
ings we enjoy here. We are obliged to this land and at
the same time to our motherland. As we are getting
ready for a season of celebrations of advent season
and Thanksgiving may God bless our celebrations.

Youth Chaplain’s Message
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
This month’s lectionary themes are reminding us of many
events. One is that we celebrate World Sunday School Day. Let us
thank God for the ministry of Sunday School. Especially for our chil-
dren to learn more about the Word of God, as well as equip them to
follow God throughout their life. Our challenge should be to not ena-
ble only one hour per week of Sunday School, but even in everyday
life, we should teach the children how to live to love and fear God. I
have seen some parents who just drop their children off to Sunday
School but do not stay for service. We should in action teach our
children what faith is to us and genuinely embed that faith to our
kids. Our children are watching and listening to us, they learn from
us more than we verbally teach them. Let us live out the Sunday
School experience all throughout our lives.
We are also preparing ourselves in the celebration of Christmas
through commemorating the annunciation to Zachariah and the Virgin
Mary, as well as the sharing of the Good News through the blessed
visitation of Mary to Elizabeth. Let us remind ourselves through
meditating this month that the coming of our Savior is the instilling of
the Hope God gives us that He will NEVER leave us. Let us continue
to put our trust and hope in Him. Let us be thankful that we exist in
this world and be thankful in all the circumstances that come our way
because God chose for us to exist because He loves us unconditional-
ly.
This month as the North-East Regional Youth Fellowship, we will
have our Fall One Day Conference at St. James Mar Thoma Church
on November 25th. Please encourage all our youths to attend the con-
ference.
NERYF will also have the regional retreat on Febru-
ary 16-18 at the Montrose Bible Conference in Penn-
sylvania. Please note the date and encourage our
youths to attend. More details regarding the retreat to
follow.

Mr. A. J. Cherian, brother in law of our members Mr. John K.
Abraham, Mr. Thomas John and Mr. John John went to be with the
Lord in Mallapally, Kerala at the age of 83.
Funeral services were held on Sunday October 29th at St Andrews
CSI Church, Keezhvaipur .
We as parish extend our deepest condolences to the bereaving
families and friends. May the peace of Christ bring them all
comfort during this difficult time.
